I learned English as a second language and got pretty good at it when I was a teenager. Now I want to learn Spanish as my third language but I’m too busy to be able to attend classes and frankly I haven’t been able to find a good teacher or class so I decided to try it and learn it on my own. I’m wondering if there is a course that I can work with that focuses on listening and speaking maybe a series of audio books that I can listen to on my way to work?
Self study Spanish learning course?

Instant Immersion Spanish is fantastic – it’s an interactive CD Rom set, much cheaper than Rosetta Stone, and it’s been very helpful to me. But you don’t just listen to it – you interact with it (essential for learning). After you have used these for a while, you can look for things to listen to in your car: look at used book stores, garage sales and craigslist for old cassette tapes or CDs of Spanish.
