I learned English as a second language and got pretty good at it when I was a teenager. Now I want to learn Spanish as my third language but I’m too busy to be able to attend classes and frankly I haven’t been able to find a good teacher or class so I decided to try it and learn it on my own. I’m wondering if there is a course that I can work with that focuses on listening and speaking maybe a series of audio books that I can listen to on my way to work?

I’m learning it via iTunes podcasts. Just take your ipod with you anywhere. The program I’m learning from is Discover Spanish.
There are series of books called Teach Yourself… They have a Spanish and a Conversational Spanish course. You can find it on Amazon.
Also, I’m not sure how much it focusses on listening and speaking but Google the Instituto Cervantes, I have taken classes with them and they were excellent but you can do online courses from home with them.
Hi I can teach you. I´m mexican. I´m searching somebody who I can practice my english, in return I can teach Spanish. (on line- webcam)
